My name is Francis (he/they). I am a queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent therapist based near Edinburgh. I offer online and telephone person-centred therapy and supervision informed by anti-oppressive practices such as the neurodiversity paradigm, intersectional feminism and disability justice.
My work is relational and trauma-informed. I support people with a range of common issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, work-place bullying, mental health issues, childhood trauma, chronic illness, self-esteem and issues with identity.
I am also experienced in areas considered more specialist such as:
Neurodivergence (including autism/ADHD/AuDHD, RSD, PDA, burnout, late diagnosis)
Disability, chronic health conditions, ME/CFS
Gender, sexuality, trans and non-binary identity, relationship diversity (polyamory, relationship anarchy, kink)
Non-diet and fat-positive approaches to food and body image - intuitive eating/health at every size
Complex/traumatic bereavements such as suicide, unexpected loss and multiple bereavements.
I offer single session, short-term and long-term therapy and I am very flexible in terms of commitment.
I have a lot of experience and enjoy working with other therapists and trainees.
I charge £50 for 60 minutes for therapy and supervision.
I do not work with couples, under 16’s, and I don’t work with people in the Edinburgh area to maintain boundaries.
Please have a look around my website. I have tried to answer most of what you need to know about me but if you need to know anything else please get in touch.
